Faculty Support for Canvas
Canvas is Emory's course management system, a web-based means of content delivery, online collaboration, and grade keeping for Emory classes. Canvas can be accessed at http://canvas.emory.edu.
When Canvas is used for a course:
- Student enrollment maps automatically from OPUS to your online grade book- your students will automatically be enrolled in your Canvas course;
- Communication is facilitated through electronic course announcements or email sent through Canvas;
- Material can be posted to your course content in many file formats including:
- Word documents
- PowerPoint
- Images
- A link to your course's Course Reserves will automatically be added to your Canvas course.
Canvas is supported at Candler by the Office of Digital Learning.
