The North European Theological Dissertations collection contains about 11,000 titles that range in date from the 16th century through the early 20th century and document the course of theological scholarship in northern Europe.
Pitts Theology Library has over 125,000 rare/special books in its Special Collections. These items can be identified in the library catalog by the location codes SPECIALCOL, SPEC-OVRSZ, SPEC-OF, or SPEC-OFOS.
While these rare and special books do not circulate, they may be used in the special collections reading area, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. These materials may be obtained by placing a request at the special collections reference desk on the third level of the library.
