Special Collections at Pitts Theology Library



The Special Collections department of Pitts Theology Library houses over 145,000 volumes of rare or special books and approximately 4,000 cubic feet of archival or manuscript material. The library has strong collections in Reformation history, Methodism and Wesleyana, hymnody and psalmody, English Religious history, Sub-Saharan Africa, haggadot, and historical editions of the Bible. The "Select Holdings" link on the left provides more detailed information about some of the library's major collections. The Special Collections department is located on the fourth floor of library.
