Image Title: Fall and Expulsion of Adam and Eve

Scripture Reference:

Description: A threefold rendering of the fall of humankind. In the first panel, Adam and Eve partake of the forbidden fruit. In the second panel, an angel drives them from the Garden of Eden, and the third scene depicts life east of Eden, as the man works the ground alongside a skeleton representing death, while the woman feeds her child. The second and third panels are part of Hans Holbein's "The Dance of Death" (Lyon, 1538) cut by Hans Luetzelburger.
