The artist, Gustave Doré (1832-1883), has placed his signature at the lower left of the woodcut, and the engraver’s signature, Adolphe François Pannemaker (1822-1900), is located at the lower right (the hyphenated addition to “Pannemaker” may note that this was a combined effort with A. Ligny).
