Description: Moses dies in the presence of angels. The artist (G. Freman) and the engraver (Johannes Kip, 1653-1722) have indicated God’s presence by placing the Tetragrammaton in an illuminated cloud. As the numeral at the head of the page indicates, this is plate #55 in a series of illustrations.
