Description: Lot’s daughters seduce him after getting him drunk, as Sodom and Gomorrah burn in the background. In the distance, Lot’s wife has now become a pillar of salt after looking back toward the cities. As the numeral at the head of the page indicates, this is plate #17 in a series of illustrations. Additionally, the signatures of the artist, G. Freman, and the engraver, Johannes Kip (1653-1722), appear at the bottom.
