Image Title: Tabernacle Altar and Bath

Description: This image shows the courtyard of the Tabernacle that the ancient Israelites built in the desert after they left Egypt. The altar on the left is intended to be used to burn whole animals in sacrifice. The Israelites would sacrifice animals to cleanse themselves of their sins. The fountain on the left is a bath for washing. Priests would wash their hands and feet before entering into the inner rooms of the tabernacle.
