Description: This reproduction of a thirteenth-century bas-relief sculpture depicts the baptism of Jesus. John the Baptist (right of center) stands in the waters of the Jordan with Jesus and offers Jesus his left hand, while he raises his right. Three angels hover about waiting with towels for Jesus when he emerges.
