Description: The Holy Spirit in the form of the dove flies over the sea. The sun and moon shine above. A Latin inscription reads SPIRITUS DOMINI FEREBATUR SUPER AQUAS (“and the spirit of God moved upon the waters” from Genesis 1). Here the waters symbolize the Virgin Mary as they become fruitful due to the presence of the Holy Spirit.
