Description: In this woodcut print, the artist depicts the scene of the great whore, Babylon, sitting on the scarlet beast. The great whore holds aloft the golden cup “full of abominations and the impurities of her fornication” (Revelation 17:4), offering it to the kings of the earth kneeling before her and the beast. The city in the background is presumably the city of Babylon.
