Image Title: Martha of Bethany
Description: This etched print shows Martha of Bethany with what is presumably a cleaning instrument, perhaps a duster. This instrument alludes to the story of Jesus’ visit to her and her sister, Mary, when she became frustrated because Mary insists on adoring Jesus instead of helping her with the household tasks. She is the patron saint of Cenobites, Clerks, and Hosts.
