Description: Death wields a scythe and carries a bow and arrows. Before it is a crowd of dead bodies, all killed with a single arrow to the forehead. Others hang in a tree nearly chopped down. The preacher stands in his pulpit and holds up a skull, teaching the dead about the dead. Original image by Niklaus Manuel Deutsch (1484-1530), copied by Guillaume Stettler and lithographed by Wilhelm Stettler.
