Description: The chancellor of Burghausen arrests Wolfgang Pinder in the town of Schärding (then part of Bavaria) for his membership among the Hutterites and takes him to Burghausen, where he has Pinder tortured in the hopes of compelling him to renounce his faith. After Pinder steadfastly refuses to recant, the chancellor sends him back to Schärding, where the authorities have him gruesomely decapitated in an extrajudicial execution in 1571 C.E.
