Judas can be seen in the background leading the soldiers and Temple police to arrest Jesus. In the top-left corner, Jesus celebrates Passover, or the Lord’s Supper, with his disciples. To the left Judas betrays Jesus with a kiss, as Peter strikes Malchus, the servant of the high priest with a sword, cutting off his ear. In the bottom-left corner Jesus is anointed by a sinful woman, and Jesus asks Peter, James, and John to wait with him as he prays in the Garden of Gethsemane. In the top-right corner Jesus is brought to the house of Caiaphas the high priest after his arrest. In the bottom-right corner Jesus washes the feet of his disciples, and the soldiers who come to arrest Jesus fall down before him after he uses the divine name I AM.
