In the top left corner David speaks to the prophet Nathan about building a house for the Lord. In the bottom-left corner David receives tribute from nations he has subdued. In the bottom-right corner David greets Jonathan’s son Mephibosheth. In the top-right corner Hanun the king of the Ammonites shames David’s envoys. To the left David gives to Uriah the Hittite a letter instructing Joab to arrange Uriah’s death. To the right is the death of Uriah the Hittite during the siege of Rabbah.
