Description: This image depicts Aaron’s staff turning into a snake to show God's power, only to have Pharaoh's magicians also turn their staffs into snakes. To the right Aaron turns the water in the Nile into blood. To the bottom middle-right the plague of frogs afflicts Egypt. To the top middle-right is the plague of gnats that came upon Egypt. To the top middle-left is the plague of flies that came upon Egypt. At the bottom the livestock of the Egyptians die, while just to the right boils afflict the Egyptians. At the top Aaron causes hail and fire fall on Egypt. To the bottom middle-left is the plague of locusts. To the top-right the plague of darkness falls on Egypt. To the bottom-left the Israelites are shown putting lamb’s blood on their doorposts, to mark the first Passover. To the bottom-right all the first-born in Egypt are struck down, except those of the Israelites. To the top-left the Israelites plunder the Egyptians.
