Description: This image depicts the construction of the tower of Babel. In the upper right-hand corner God, with a radiant triangle symbolic of the Trinity, comes down to earth to investigate the construction of the tower. At the top of the image a dove, ostensibly the Holy Spirit, sends down various tongues to confuse the language of humanity. In the lower right-hand corner, the workers cease construction and depart because of their inability to communicate.
