Description: The prodigal son returns to his father’s house to hire himself out as a hired hand. However, his father rushes out to embrace his son and calls his servants to clothe him in fine attire and prepare a feast to celebrate his return. In the background, the elder son stands in the doorway, expressing his disapproval of the grace his father has shown toward his irresponsible brother.
