Description: Jesus is buried in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea. Joseph wraps Jesus in linen cloth, while Mary Magdalene anoints him with oil. In the background are three crosses standing on the hill of Golgotha. Includes the monogram of the woodcutter, Christoffel van Sichem II (1577-1658) near the top left corner; his son, Christoffel van Sichem III (1618-1659), may have collaborated with him on these images.
