Description: This image comes from “Trophaeum Vitae Solitariae,” dated 1598, bound with “Solitudo, sive, Vitae patrum eremicolarum”. Saint Antiochus is sent into exile for converting many people to Christianity. The artist responsible for the design was Maarten De Vos and the engraver was Johannes Sadeler I (Jan Sadeler), whose names are at the lower center.
