Description: Surrounded by gardens, Saint Copres (fourth century) reads with hand on the shovel. He was remembered for helping the people of his area of Upper Egypt by praying for their crops. The artist responsible for the design was Maarten De Vos, but the engraving for the volume was done by Johannes Sadeler I (Jan Sadeler) and Raphael Sadeler I, whose surname is at the lower left.
