Description: This image depicts God giving Moses the ten commandments on Mount Sinai on the left and Moses, face shining, sharing the remade commandments and covenant law with the Israelites on the right. By Pietro Santi Bartoli (1635-1700) after Raphael (1483-1520), published by Giovanni Giacomo de Rossi (1627-1691). The first text is a shortening of Exodus 31:18. The second is a summation of Exodus 34: 29a and 32.
