Description: The image depicts the head of a man in the form of a house, with a door where the mouth would be and windows for eyes; a skeleton scales a ladder to enter through one of the windows; several biblical scenes are depicted in the background, including David watching Bathsheba bathe and Eve carrying the fruit. The Latin superscription reads, "The cost of the incautious look," and the text below, "What, which is hurled everywhere disturbs the eyes? This does, the black death that flies into open windows." The numeral, 66, has been placed in the upper right to indicate its plate number within a series of illustrations.
