In the background, one man holds an animal while the other slaughters it and to their right, one man distracts a shopkeeper while the other makes off with stolen goods. The Latin superscription reads, "Could I change another's sins," and the text below, "Can one, drawing guilt from another, invite reproach? By agreeing with the author of the sin, by befriending evil.".
