Description: This title-page border by Sebald Beham (1500-1550) depicts the resurrected Christ, having triumphed over Satan and Death (top), the gospel writers with their respective attributes (sides) and a rendering of the church of the Christians as those loving others and following the teachings of Peter and Paul seen with attributes preaching from pulpit (bottom left) alongside a rendering of the church of the antichrist depicted as a violent seen between rulers (bottom right).
