Description: After receiving the Ten Commandments from God on stone tablets, Moses and Joshua come down from Mount Sinai to see the Israelite camp worshipping a golden calf. Consumed by anger, Moses throws down the tablets where they break at the foot of the mountain. The initials of the artist or engraver Paul Creutzberger (PC) have been placed in the bottom-center. The image is flanked by Moses with the Ten Commandments (left) and Aaron as priest.
