Description: This image depicts the Passion of Christ. In the center Jesus prays in the Garden of Gethsemane and an angel ministers to him, as Peter, James and John sleep. Judas can be seen in the background leading the soldiers and Temple police to arrest Jesus. In the top-left corner, Jesus celebrates Passover, or the Lord’s Supper, with his disciples. To the left Judas betrays Jesus with a kiss, as Peter strikes Malchus, the servant of the high priest with a sword, cutting off his ear. In the bottom-left corner Jesus is anointed by a sinful woman, and Jesus asks Peter, James, and John to wait with him as he prays in the Garden of Gethsemane. In the top-right corner Jesus is brought to the house of Caiaphas the high priest after his arrest. In the bottom-right corner Jesus washes the feet of his disciples, and the soldiers who come to arrest Jesus fall down before him after he uses the divine name I AM.
