Description: This image depicts the Israelites being led by the cloud, representative of God’s presence, through the wilderness of Sinai. To the top-left is an Israelite woman standing before the priest drinking bitter water, as a jealousy offering is made on her behalf. To the top-right a man takes a nazirite vow before a priest. To the left the leaders present their offerings for the dedication of the altar. To the bottom-right Miriam and Aaron rebel against Moses. At the top Joshua and Caleb returning from spying in the Promised Land with a cluster of grapes. To the bottom-left a man is stoned for gathering sticks on the Sabbath.
