This collection consists of color wood engravings and calendar prints of international cities, primarily in Germany, that the Pitts Theology Library acquired over a period of several years. Item numbers 1-29 are prints used on calendars produced by Otto Harrassowitz, a German publishing company. Item numbers 30-51 are original color wood engravings. All of the engravings have been matted. The images are labeled in Latin, but the calendar prints include descriptions of the cities that are written in German.
The prints and engravings are arranged numerically in the boxes, but
the container listing is sorted alphabetically by country, and
thereunder,
alphabetically by the name of the city.
