Scope and Content Note

This bound volume consists of one hundred and fifty-seven pages.  It is handwritten in English with some Latin quotations.  Biblical quotations are underlined and noted in the margins.  The volume is organized into nineteen chapters, each of which elaborates on a trial of Christ.  The overarching theme of the manuscript is the redemptive value of suffering to Christians.  Each chapter concludes with a prayer.  The author of this piece is unknown.
