There is an index in the front of the piece to the Psalms and names of tunes as well as a partial index to the hymns by topic. There is no information identifying who wrote or transcribed this book.

This hymnal was discovered among the hymnody collection acquired from Hartford Seminary Library by Pitts Theology Library in 1975.
