Scope and Content Note

Nine documents are included in this collection. The first is a "Diploma of Knighthood" (no 71520) of The Primrose League dated 25th August 1886. This certificate testifies "that the Rev. A. Rogers of Baron Cross Leominster has enrolled a Knight Almoner of the Primrose League".

The remaining eight documents are Roman Catholic Licensing documents dated between 1869 and 1878 granting licenses to the Rev. A. Rogers. The license dated 1872 is signed by Henry Edward Manning.
