Rev. George Haws Feltus (1868-1936) wrote The Feltus Family Book and Samuel Reynolds House of Siam.  He also edited the Abstract Missionary Journal of Rev. D. D. Bradley.

Typed transcriptions of three diaries, compiled, edited and bound together by George Haws Feltus, The diaries were created by three missionaries sent to Siam under the auspices of the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions. The diaries provide insight into their experiences, impressions, and daily routines while in Siam. The diary of Rev. Jesse Caswell also contain entries about Chao Fa Yai (1804-1868), the Buddhist priest who later became Mongkut, King of Siam.  Caswell was a missionary in Siam from 1839 to 1848.  His diary dates from 1833 to 1848.  Feltus includes excerpts from a "Commonplace Book" attributed to Rev. Caswell.

The volume also contains the diaries of Rev. Asa Hemenway and his wife Lucia Hunt Hemenway.  The Hemenways were missionaries to Siam from 1839 to 1850.  Rev. Hemenway's diary begins in October 1836 and ends in January 1850.  The diary of Lucia Hunt Hemenway dates from April 1839 to August 1849.

Feltus has included biographical sketches for each of the three missionaries at the beginning of each journal.  This bound volume is a carbon copy, Series no. 2, Copy no. 2 made in Troy, New York, 1931.
